  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

DSMC Accessories

This is the bit you are after. Quick Release negative Nato Rail to 1/4-20 threaded holes on multiple sides... super low profile.. super quick off and on. You can put an LCD, EVF, Noga Arm, Handle, etc.etc.etc. on these things.

Ooo, awesome. I've been dying for something like this. What's the price guesstimate?

Love it. Jarred keep the updates coming. I LOVE the Nato system.

Trust me.. you guys have only seen a fraction of the system pieces so far.. it keeps getting better... and better... and better :)

Good to hear! The more sneak peaks you can give us, the better I can plan out my system.

Keep up the good work.

Sounds like the best strategy for me is to attach my Epic accessories with bailing wire until all this stuff materializes. Becasue whatever I come up with now, I'll want to replace in the next few months. Fun times!

Very nice!

It'd be great if that had at least one 3/8" as well

Jarred -you guys rock! We finally got our DSMC platform pack and the Epic riser this AM...along with the dovetail -yet again shrinking the form factor, and weight. Good on ya, bro!

Agreed - the new NATO system looks really slick. I like the whole "infinitely configurable" approach and had a great time at NAB playing around with all the different parts. Also - it's great to see that you guys are going for higher quality machined parts than with the cast accessories for the R1.

I'm disappointed that the swat rail itself appears to attach to the camera with a single centered mounting point, and that this piece appears so narrow that it must attach larger accessories like the touchscreen with a single centered mounting point.

I've had enough monitors and even cameras twist off and crash to the ground to never use anything with a single centered mounting point ever again.

You should at least put a lip on one side of this thing to keep the monitor square (sorta like a RRS camera plate)...

Shame, the swat rail system looks great in theory. But I'm fine using the Accessory Attachment Bracket & a Rod-to-Rosette Bracket.

Our swat rails are attached with two bolts.

I would really like a plate so I can mount a V-lock battery to the back of my epic. Maybe one the clips directly on the back of the camera where the red-remote goes.
