  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

DSMC Accessories

I hope RED would post more photos and videos on their Store to systematically show us what each piece does and how it works. I'd like to see more possible applications and configurations with their surfeit of new DSMC accessories.

Derek, if you and others keep pushing Red, maybe they will understand that things (accessories and how they best work in relationship to Epic and its modules) are not as clear to some as management thinks they are.

Yeah that was a set up for tripod which I then slide on to the shoulder mount, but you can change setting as much as you want, with many accessories, and Rails inn various sizes.

Hey guys,

Does anyone know if Stage 2 comes with the DMSC AC Power Adaptor? I know it's not on the Stage 2 accessory list, so I'm sure it's not included, but I just wanted some clarification before I bought one now and wound up with two.

Sorry Brent...I took Jarred at his word that they'd be in the store Friday, and sure enough there they were.

Nice to be at the very front of the line -I thought with the BackPack I would have gotten those bits within 45 minutes of ordering, but I wasn't so lucky (hopefully the next batch will ship in the coming week).
 
I've noticed a few little bits of kit like cables and rail parts often show up in the RED store which seem to go unnoticed on reduser. Always pays to check both frequently
 
Yeah there have been about a dozen or so bits put up on the website over the last week. The web team is working on a " What's new " page that will be a bit easier for you guys to keep up with us :)

Red Team,

I'm curious about the backordered Modular Assault Plate Pack. I'm in Stage 2 and own the Dovetail Quick Release. I have the Assault Plate Pack on order, but don't know when it will come in. I'd like to have a plate before my camera arrives. Should I go ahead and get the regular mounting plate, just in case? Can any estimate be given on the Assault Pack Plate delivery?

In my experience, backordered accessories are not usually more than a couple of weeks wait (except initially the REDVolts) - RED seem to churn them out at a pretty steady rate.
