So I got my two Wooden Camera Weapon top plates. I will say overall I like them very much. I love re-locating the top LCD/EVF Connector to the dumb side and the ability to rotate the Lemo connector (within reason) is brilliant. You can also relocate the operator side pogo connector as well, but the cable that does so runs over the top of the fans as it crosses to the other side. This was a bit of a surprise to me. It blocks maybe a third of the intake, and does not rest right on the fan, so It's probably not a big deal. But I don't want any extra noise from the fans working harder, so I just pulled that assembly out. The cool thing though is that gives you a somewhat flexible equivalent of a Lemo A adapter, but with the ability to relocate the second lemo wherever you can get it to reach and stay. I don't like where the Lemo A adapter puts the connector -- often right in the operator's face. So for now, I'm going to epoxy it into a short 19mm rod and lock it into a location similar to the Epic, pointing forward, where it will be convenient to attach the EVF. I can rotate the Lemo in the 19mm mount a bit (cool) and the whole thing can just be removed it I want to. I'm sure there will be a lot of aftermarket pogo adapters in the near future, but this little hack will serve my current needs very well until something else comes along.
