Will the HDRx feature be suitable for the Scarlet in more situations as opposed to the Epic since has got more stops?
when the scarlet cinema comes out used 16mm glass prices are going to shoot up fast!
Odd I just imported this into FCP to show my students last night on how great this tech isWhat codec was this encoded with? I can't import it into 5.5 to view on my CRT![]()
the film is great, nice 120 fps,
I wondering why was there a huge amount of posterization, is it because the ISO 1000? or?
I hoped its only because of the H.264 compression...
Isn't Scarlet fixed equipped with the same sensor? the Mysterium-X? Should be the same amount of stops then.
It's a completely different sensor. Same brand-name, I'm sure designed using some of the same technologies / design philosophies, but still totally different. (unlike the Red M-X and Epic sensors, which actually are the same sensor in different sizes).
The skateboard industry is definitely listening to what RED is doing, how many other cameras out there are shooting that quality of image and are small enough to run from the police with(jk)?
