  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Scarlet 8x internal 120FPS test

(Am just back from a couple of days in Germany, where the weirdest rumors about RED float about. Good to come back to a reality check.)

hey martin, do you mind sharing? I'm curious what my weird fellow country men talk about. PM me, if it's too disturbing :)

It would be nice to have the R3D file to really look into this in detail, but the best would be a 1080p file and less compressed.

Might you accept my apologies for ever doubting you RED...

all i could say was... DAMN, that is sexy

That was seriously "10 KINDS of AWESOME" man!

I can never seem to keep up! Any word when this might become available to those of us drooling on this side of the screen? :drool5:

(Edit)

Just saw the post from Jim on Bad NEWS! It's all good! I can be patient... maybe? :willy_nilly:

Need a 2k -
I want to show it around, but the current release is just like dslr in its resolution (to really show the advantage of Red, need that 2k!)
Vimeo plus offers an excellent 1080p option... perhaps the best for 2k distribution on the web.

I'll second - third? fourth? - this request. RED has always been about the importance of resolution, hence the introduction of 4K and 5K cameras. Is there any good reason to not give us a full-res, or at least 1080p version of this file. I honestly can't tell much about the clip or the quality of the cam from this very low-res clip.

I appreciate that something has been posted, yes, but people have been waiting years, not months for footage from Scarlet. Enough with the bread crumbs... I'm starving.

I have to say that Scarlet is clearly going to change the low budget production landscape. I have been in the corporate video space for a long time, and i have suffered with the cameras that are used in that space for far too long.

Totally bad-ass. Looking forward to having this thing in my toolkit.

Fantastic

Fantastic

Like everyone else, I can't wait to get one of these cameras. It looks awesome. I've got my first shoot on the Red One in a couple of weeks. I'm excited. Viva la Scarlet!
