Check out Brook's blog ;-)

Thanks Tony. But I didn't really find what I was looking for. I have seen the "trick" with the Sliding Top Handle on the side, but I want to know specifically if it would be practical to clamp on Dogbones and handles - so I could adjust them much more rather than with the Top Handle solution. :)

My point is that the sidearms on Brooks FMJ have the standard Nato rail cross-section, which means you should be able to pop a lot of the DSMC accessories on there. I'm sure you can build something funny there ;-)

Oh, right. Cool!! :) I could just imagine making a setup that would look like a huge spider - but of course still functional, hahaha ;D

Thanks. I eventually figured it out though ;) But how do you then attach Dogbone to Dogbone (for flexible extension) and still maintain a swift re-adjustable attachment - at the "joint" between the Dogbones?

That is what the rosettes are for. Loosen the kip handle on the rosette, make your adjustment, and then tighten...

Will it possible while waiting for Nikon mount for epic to use the canon mount with a nikon lens in a canon adapter.

Yes, I also figured this much. But I do not see them as a separate part in the store - or are they just an easy to come by item elsewhere... sorry for the gear-newbie questions, haha ;D

Please make a Lego room in the stores, or some sort of way to see rigging ideas on the website. There's so many options it's hard to picture configurations only seeing each piece individually online.

Holy crap that'd be awesome...

ha ha ha we have been working for 3 months on this slowly but surely.. should be done before Stage 2 begins.

Yes - Kipp handles can be bought anywhere in the world (including Denmark). Brdr. Klee used to have have Kipp handles - but now they have a whole bunch of similar ones: http://www.klee.dk/catalog/index/nodeid/n_lever

I may take a little flak for this Jarred, but I'll say it anyway.

Don't get me wrong, this is totally cool and a thing of beauty. I really Get It.

But every RED already comes with a body cap that works. This is... kinda superfluous. Or at least pretty low priority.

I'd be more excited if you already had the Matte Box bits I need in the store. Like, some way to attach the bottom flag I bought that doesn't involve duct tape... the brackets already exist dammit, they're in production for the Matte Box, there's just no way to order an extra one if you want top AND bottom flags. Why not put that in the store?

Other little accessories would be Really Useful - like side flags, extra clip-on ring sizes, the fabled frame & swing-away for 19mm... all would be a hell of a lot more useful than a machined body cap, and a better use of your limited resources, in my humble opinion. I'm sure all of the above is work in progress, just a shame to see things like this body cap come ahead of it.

Don't take this hard, it's not intended to sound whiny or ungrateful, it's just a little friendly criticism from someone who admires what you do, ok? :)

Mike, you would be surprised at how many people lose lens port caps and don't want to resort to gaff tape.

Also, matte box, we are working on it. We balance a fine line here - people want gear in store right away. Even if we do not have sufficient stock. Then we get chewed out for not having the gear available to ship. Damned if we do, damned if we don't. We are trying to make sure we have decent stock before we post. It won't work out 100% of the time, but that is our goal.

I wish life were simpler and we could wave a magic wand to make things happen. What we are doing here is much more complex than "hmm, should we post the body cap or matte box accessories?". It is not an either-or situation. It is when it is ready to go online, it will.
