oh god dont tell me stuff like that...

Sorry dude, didn't mean to freak you out.
But I'm pretty sure a Black Widows' venom is less damaging to muscle tissue than a fiddleback...at least from what I've read.
My cousin's a bit of a wimp actually so I'm sure you'll pull thru ok.

I hope you treated the little 8 legged biatch to an EXTREME CU of the sole of your shoe!

Wow, dude where did this happen?
Are there lots of those 8 legged freaks in socal?

Just remember spidey aint got nothin' on Superman, you'll have a quick recovery.

Try this if you still are in trouble:

Ouch, that hurts ... there is a remedy which can be extremely helpful in such situations. Charcoal, it sucks out the poison. I know it's messy, dont get it into wounds, but put into packs it can be administered neatly. There is a variety of ways to do this ...
... here is one http://www.buyactivatedcharcoal.com/poultice

Charcoal should be given a fancy name and then put into fancy packaging, then many more would use it. It works because of colloidal potential in the particles, micropores with internal negative charge which sucks in chemicals and holds onto them.

Good luck friend, Thommes Ulfeng.

I know we said we wanted your blood , sweat and tears to get epic and scarlet out but I don't think we meant literally. hope you've gone to a hospital with that thing

Oooof. I hate black widows. Had one crawling on me once as a kid (lived in S.F. Bay Area) and I still remember it too vividly.

Had a teacher bitten by a brown recluse... that's some seriously bad stuff.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery Jarred.

Apparently they used to have trouble with the Widows in outhouses back in the day. Makes sense considering they like dark places.

Outhouses...that makes for some painful mental images of where on the body a bite could happen...

Ugg... well, there is one reason to stay north of the 49th, eh Jarred?

Best wishes.

Yeah.. in Canada all we had to really worry about is getting stampeded by wild Moose.

Man, I guess I'm not so alone in the S%#$@ that continues to happen, Very Sorry about that nasty byte.

This shows that even a big creature like you Jarred, can be a victim of a little creature, those are the roles of the world in which we leave.

ciao

Since Jarred is sick, who's in charge after him?:)

Damn, that looks nasty. The nice thing about the moose (compared to the Black Widow ) is that you can usually tell when one is climbing up your pant leg.

All the best during the healing process, Jarred.
