WOW Jarred! OUCH!
Oddly enough, I was on a shoot in Squaw Valley a year ago, and noticed my left index finger was "Itching". After a while I actually looked at it and between 1st/2nd knuckle was a quarter sized swelling about 3/8" high and starting to "open up"! Took weeks to heal. Only reason was not worse, I think, was I had tendon damage on that finger years ago and not really enough "meat" to cause damage to. Doc said it was a BW bite.
BUT.... my brother, who lives in Az, was o aroad tour with his GF thru NorCal... got tagged 4X by a BW the same weekend! He had 4" holes in his abdomen and leg from that and was sick for weeks!
