Actually, what no one realized was that Tex is their new 4 K delivery system.
You didn't that 4 K stood for 4 Knives did you?
(Sorry about that.)

I'm just hoping it's not the new customer service "problem solver"

(You have a problem with your workflow? Say hello to my leetul frand!)

edit: apologies to Karapetkov who already elevated Tex to Problem Solver.

We could bring our solid sized "creature from the black lagoon" replica to the battle.

And, even if the creature would loose to text - it GLOWS in the dark :)

First you don't feed him,

My thoughts on this strange case are as follows ...

My thoughts on this strange case are as follows ...

Just in case you had any doubts who won this skirmish.....

and, yeah, that is flesh and blood you see on that blade. A nasty battle, indeed. Jarred lives to fight new nemesis, the future may not be so bright for Tex.

1) There is some valuable RED publicity to be had by submitting the whole sordid epic to MTV's Scarred.
Be sure to play it up for dramatic effect.:waaa:

2) As I look at the prototype of that odd but fearsome mechanical beast, I have to think that there are a few individuals down at RED headquarter who either have just a little too much on their hands, or are a few bolts short of a full robot.

Give those mad scientists a new camera to invent ... and make it quick! :)

3) The work on Scarlet must be complete if they have moved on to creating ungrateful spiders. :ninja:

4) Jim, didn't your mother tell you to not play with knifes?

As I recall the razor-legged spider has been around for a year. At least CAD renderings of it appeared here on Reduser prior to NAB 2007 and I think there was an actual model in a display case at NAB.

Yes, Tex was in the first display case as you came in the door at the RED booth followed by Frankie in the second case with Boris and Natasha in the last case if my memory is right.

I always thought Tex would have been pretty cool, if dangerous, as an actual robot.

Has anyone tried to do stop motion animation with him? I would think there would be some entertaining results.

This is Tex... true story.

Can RED one owners own the TEX to protect our RED one ?
