  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Can't wait for the Quad charger. I assume it's hot swappable but what charging times we can expect?
Better then the hour and a half current Red Volt chargers?
 
Nice update!

Either you have great inventory/sales software or you've spent beaucoup man-hours putting this together. Things must be running smoothly to take the time to do this.

This is a turning point IMO.

So.....if the Pro I/O will be out around the last week of May,
may I inquire as to when we can order it? Or is there no more pre-ordering
anymore?

Thanks for the update Jarred - keeping us in the loop is very much appreciated.

The 9" touch sounds like the dog's bollocks; I'm already guesstimating the budget I might need.

Don't put me on the sh!t list for asking the question man... but the matte box bits seem to be trickling out very slowly. You're only now adding more ring sizes... and no news yet on swing away mount and rotating stages? Love the box, want the modules for flexibility to use it different ways!

Jarred, will the Nikon mount be Ti, Al or both ? Any idea of the price range ?

My EPICX arrived last week and they are not installing it permanently just yet it seems. I had to order mine from RED.

oops, didn't read far enough down to see Jarred's post, mine that just arrived last week didn't and I had to order, Bomb squad said working on a installed fix. Only if you have a Canon mount??

It is a small piece which may be inserted to line the "gate" of your EPIC which will eliminate the sometimes unwanted flares.

We are getting in some of the the user-installable OLPF Port Bushings as we speak so can begin shipping these out as soon as today. This bushing reduces the reported flare issue on EPIC and SCARLET for existing camera owners. If you are interested in this, please email olpf@red.com with your camera serial number and shipping address. Once we get your email, it is will enter the order processing queue and we will reply back with the installation instructions. If after getting the instructions and reviewing them, you would prefer we do the install here at RED for you, no problem - just let us know. The bushing kit and RED installation - both at no charge.

Since it will be asked... For new cameras, we will be addressing the issue with a permanent solution that is an integrated part of the manufacturing process (ie, not user installable).
