  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Scarlet and Epic BUILD 4.0.6 BETA

Just got my Twilight Sceneries reel edited. Shot 60% on Epic build 4.0.

I Didn´t have any big problems with the Beta build, but there´s something that I´d like to add in release build.
Is there any chance to get some kind of bulb ramping on Epic interval recording mode? Is it possible to see when the shutter is open in Epic? If you film 30 sec interval with 8sec exposure, how do you know when can you move the camera?

Found a bug.

When enabling "Continous" AF and selecting AF on several Canon L series lenses causes the camera to become unresponsive to any input (Touch Screen, Side Handle, record buttons). Hard reboot required.

When booting with this mode enabled it also freezes.

Phil -- We haven't been able to replicate this one, can you please send in a log?

Will do. I'm going to do more testing tomorrow to see if I lure out more technomites. Send you one after all that.
 
I get a greenish look autobalance when I switch between RAW and PRESET...but not always....sometimes happens and by playback a clip and return to main screen it goes back to normal...
 
4.0.6 breaks SDI external record flags, at least when recording with the lastest firmware on the Blackmagic Hyperdeck Shuttle.

4.0.6 do not show Meta in REDCINE-X 16.24124 properly.
The Aperture, FL and Focus Distance is stuck on the first frame data.
Advancing to the next frames that were taken with different Aperture or Focus Distance will not update Metadata.

Edit:
I guess it is more REDCINE-X specific than 4.0.6 firmware.

Bug?

Redmote is not charging when turned off. Even though it's been connected to a camera with battery power for a week, and to a computer with USB during the night... Battery is drained.

I was getting the same thing, greenish tint on RAW display. Returned to release build and greenish tint in RAW went away.
