I am on a 27 inch imac so the picture is small to say the least (if we had some high res photos I would not have had to ask that question) .

Yeah, that must be the 5" monitor, and if you didn't catch it, that's standard as the smaller one is discontinued since it was judged too small to use as a touchscreen.

The grip is cool. Which ways are angles at the joints adjustable? Also, I see holes in the arm. Can the monitor be mounted on it upside-down for a lower profile form factor, more suitable for holding in front of the shooters face, rather than at waist-level? Also, does the monitor twist? I can only remember seeing it tilt.

Will the mattebox fit on the 17-50? It says reduction rings are provided for 110, 114 and 140. What is the max diameter without any reduction ring?
