Quickplate V-Lock Battery module ready to ship

I'm still waiting for mine that I ordered in September, I now have another one ordered and really need them both as soon as possible. Please send some to Red Europe. The website says orders placed today ship within 2-3 weeks.

+1 This is very frustrating - having to buy WC battery plates to cover +1 modules and pro i/o when I really want these

I wonder why they have such a problem updating their website with stock availability. Why would this be so difficult logistically? Honest question...

What about AUX ports any solution for those? might use aux ports powering remote focus

I just had Dan Kanes make me some 1 inch 0B 2-Pin Lemo TO FEMALE P-TAP and I am able to power everything just fine.

I bought a 0B 2 pin Lemo to 4 D tap splitter cable from Arri but as I am still waiting for my quick plate modules I have not been able to test if it works.

Hi Nick,

Would you mind posting a link to that exact product. Would love to buy one but I'm having a really hard time finding one. Would prefer to buy something off the shelf than this homemade stuff that I see people talk about.

Orders placed today expected to ship within 7-10 business days

still no v-mount plate. ordered 11/12/2013.

7-10 business days ??? shure ?
I ordered mine 3 weeks ago, took 2 weeks to arrive. I would contact your bomb rep about your order.

Please, give us a link, I looked on the Arri website but couldn't find it.

Thanks,
Damien

I bought it at the Arri stores at Arri Media. It is an Anton Bauer 4 D tap block with a Curley cable and a 2pin lemo 0B connector . I have also seen other rental houses make their own. It was about £75 + VAT. You wouldn't be able to use all 4 at once though. I may even put some electrical tape over 2 of the D taps as even using just 1 with a Preston gave me a couple of warnings on the touch screen, they did go away with a reboot but it was a bit embarrassing.

Yes, you want to upgrade to V5.1.38 firmware:
  • Fix immediate shutdown with Non-RED V-Mount batteries attached to Quickplate Module
With V5.1.38, you can use batteries like an IDX Endura 10s with the quickplate module--camera will display voltage instead of % and utilize the battery correctly.

I'm sure this was answered somewhere in there but after wading through the first 8 pages....

Will the V-lOCk module accept aftermarket V-Mounts like Anton Bauer's or is RedBricks only?
