May Update... The month of Raven

I have been wanting a red camera for YEARS but never had the budget for it. Just dropped my deposit and some for the scarlet-w over the past 10 days. I cant wait. first red product ever I am too excited. Hopefully I don't really have to wait until fall to see what this baby can do. got some upgrading to do though. New computer, screen, lenses, sliders, mounts ect... I think Im in over my head, but hopefully it all works out and I am truly and greatly satisfied with the purchase

Just curious Jason, why do you have RED PL mount in one pic and WC PL in another? any difference in the back focus or anything of tech importance (aside build quality)?

I dont have my camera yet to check but the monitors are listed with 2x M4 captive screws for connection.

I honestly don't get what people are bitching about.
Jarred and the whole RED team has always been honest about what's going on.
I myself ordered a Raven back in October 2015 switched to Scarlet-W early this year.
So I should have been allocated before NAB. But during this process my timestamp wasn't passed along.
Which means I'm waiting two more months for my camera.

BUT instead of bitching around I contacted Brent, askig if he can look into it.
And whithin a few days (keep the time difference in mind) he got back to me with a proper answer and solution.
On top of it RED is offering loaner cameras - something I haven't experienced from any other camera company!
