  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Awesome news ... when will the 50mm RPP be out of backorder ... I'm not planning on buying this month ... but would like to know general time frame (to start saving my pennies)?
 
This firmware sounds awesome. Can't wait until it's available.

Top 'remaining' priority for Scarlet

We are watching all the exciting news with interest. The quality of the Red cameras is unsurpassed. The one remaining critical functional requirement for those of us filming sports is 120fps @ 2K or 1080P. Hoping to have something for the 2012 Olympics :-)

That's already available - you just need an Epic.
 
i think 120 fps @ 2k for scarlet would be fair/awesome :beer:

an fs700 for around 10.000 $ make 240 fps @ 1920. .. i know not raw.. but 240 fps

Yes, but that's in a limited burst mode (on the FS700) - can't remember the limit (16 seconds?).

Before (rip scarlet) we talked about a burst mode. Maby it is still possible with a burst mode.

yes, and 8 seconds for higher rates. the body is 8k and its on preorder at bh. but guys lets stop talking about other cameras...

No problem here - simply making the point that it's burst mode on the 'other' camera :)

No interest in it for me, I'm in the RED camp (it'll be fun to see 400fps).
