  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Because there is new RED lenses coming out right... maybe not soon.. but new AF RED MOUNTS / PL etc... I'm reading between the lines here. :)

Isn't there a "Pro"mote with a focus wheel on the horizon? Any news about that one? I didn't see any prototypes at NAB. That little piece of gear will be a serious game enhancer!

Jarred has confirmed they are still working on it. It was suggested that the redmote pro may have a small onboard monitor. Given that the module adaptor +1 is not out till Dec the Redmote Pro looks like it won't be here till summer next year. But I guess we will see...

I see no red primes available anymore (backorder or otherwise) on the red store except for Battle Tested. And there is no new version coming out any time soon? Does that mean RED is getting out of the prime lens business for the foreseeable future?

Then you should contact your BS. You may have missed an e-mail? RED e-mails are prone to be identified as spam.
 
First small batch of PRO / IO is going out this week... keep an eye out for who gets them :)
 
Great! I hope I'm one of the lucky ones so I can put in on my TV show. We have shot three seasons of the Nickelodeon show Big Time Rush on the RED MX and was waiting on this piece to transition to the Epic.
 
Everyone that is getting a pro io In the first shipment already knows :)

And J I have learned patience since I have small children... so I will wait my turn..... BTW Spiderman looks awesome in IMAX 3D... FYI
