Comment on your thoughts of the design and what you think are must have features in the system.
We will debut the ATOM 600 KV at NAB 2020 at booth C7915. More info to come!

it would be really nice to make one that fits into the battery slots on the back and passes through to a V-Mount plate similar to the Storm 3000 Dual V-lock tx. This way we can run V-mount battery & have wireless video. not sure if that is possible or not.

Excellent news Mike!
Looking forward to it!

+1 to Tim's comment, but would like to see a gold mount option.

@tim, check out the photos I just uploaded. The gold mount is a great idea!

Looks GREAT Mike.

is there an internal battery powering Komodo,
since V-mount isn’t attached?

That's pretty cool, a few thoughts:

-+1 Gold Mount
-Can the SDI Out be on the camera right/AC side? If it could have two SDI out ports that would be neat.
-I'm little worried about the antennas obstructing the built in monitor on top of the komodo or even an additional monitor like in the picture with Bay. Maybe if they came from the right side? and/or with right angle connectors?
-AUX power out would be a great idea, to power onboard monitors and FIZ. 2x P-Tap or 2pin Lemo minimum. Probably have to put them on top? Preferably with some rubber stoppers for weather protection when not in use.
-I could be wrong but it looks like it may extend past the bottom of Komodo? That could be a problem for using the EXT box that Jarred teased with Timecode/Genlock etc. or whatever else will be coming out form Red/3rd parties
-it needs an onboard battery to work? (can't be fed power from camera if for example working with a small build for remote/hard mounting and powering via DC-in, perhaps it could have it's own DC in?)
-if the camera side mount was swappable to v-mount/gold mount that would add a lot of value as this could be camera agnostic. Would probably add a bit of length/cost and i'm not sure how everyone would feel about that.

I understand there isn't much real estate on Komodo or this module, which is/was already a bit of problem with the larger DSMC1/2 but Komodo makes it worse. Probably part of why Jarred is stressing that this isn't meant as an "A-Cam". I wouldn't mind if you had to add a bit more length to the back of the camera to accommodate power/SDI outs, as I have a feeling any build with (proper) cine glass and an onboard monitor will end up very front heavy anyway.

I like the smile in the reflection. This is just like everyone here looking at this module.

The SDI on the left side is the output or the input ?

Can we use regular receivers or is this only app monitoring ? or better, can we use both, 4+4 ?

+1 on the tb-50

I'm not sure on internal battery... this is a mock up meant to provide a concept of our design. The unit will provide pass through power to the body and power the transmitter as well.

SDI is output and there will be an HDMI as well. The unit will come as stand alone or with a matched RX plus 4x iOS/android connection.

Fantastic, looking forward to that!

Would love to see a low cost light weight and slim Vlock 2 Vlock module that do SDI to wifi that streams to DSMC2 video to iPads etc. Dont need to be low latency etc just something that sits snug behind the battery and can be used on shoots where we dont carry client screens.

really love what you are doing here but you guys really gotta be careful about using other people's photos.. and other people.... in your ads .
