We're happy to announce this second, time limited, REDUser foolcontrol Group Buy that will let Participants get the iOS and / or the OS X version at a significant discount (approximately - 20 -> 30 % discount) PLUS a chance to win a free foolcat license if Tier 2 (see Below) is achieved.
GROUP BUY OFFERINGS :
1. Get foolcontrol OS X 'universal' for 349 US $ (regular price) and receive free foolcontrol iOS app (149 US $ value in app store) - 1 seat license, not limited to any camera pin / model
2. Get foolcontrol iOS for 119 US $ (instead of 149 US $). 1 'Apple App Store account' download, license not limited to any camera pin / model
3. Get foolcontrol OS X for EPIC / WEAPON single camera for 99 US $ (instead of 149 US $) - 1 camera pin locked license, unlimited installs (for rental, can install on client computer for example)
4. Get foolcontrol OS X for SCARLET single for 55 US $ (instead of 79 US $) - 1 camera pin locked license, unlimited installs (for rental, can install on client computer for example)
GROUB BUY TIERS :
Tier1: - 15 UNITS needed to unlock the deal
Tier 2: - 30 UNITS to unlock 1st extra : 15 participants will get a free 1 seat foolcat license (65 US $ value) at the end of the group buy (fully random computer algorithm will choose who gets it)
Tier 3: - 45 UNITS will add 10 extra foolcat licenses for the 10 first GB participants who paid for their license (increasing chances to get a free copy for the others)
Tier 4: - 60 UNITS : maximum allocated units. Group buy closes if we reach this tier before times run out. 5 more extra foolcat licenses given to participants. With 30 free licenses it gives you around 50% chances of getting one, 100% if you are among the first 10 to jump in.

GROUP BUY DURATION :
The group buys starts today and will end on the sooner of, the first day of November 2015 or if we reach the 60 unit Maximum.
All payment done via paypal, adding VAT if applicable within Europe only.
VAT exempt for euro VAT registered companies with valid ID (except french based companies as it where foolcolor operates from)
HOW TO PARTICIPATE :
It is required to first post in this thread your name / chosen product(s) / number of units
once first tier (15 units) is unlocked you can email foolcontrol@foolcolor.net to finalise your order, pay and receive your license(s).
only final sales will count as a participation in the foolcat bonus license draw at the end of the group buy.
SOFTWARE INFORMATION :
foolcontrol allows advanced camera control including most camera parameters in a slick User Interface.
both iOS and OS X apps can drive Canon and Nikon lenses iris / focus provided the lens is compatible with RED camera FW (list of supported lenses is at the end of the DSMC manual)
foolcontrol works on WEAPON / RAVEN built in wifi, no extra accessory needed.
foolcontrol works on EPIC / SCARLET with cat5 cable, cat5 + wifi, REDLink bridge or via 3rd party modules (offhollywood HOTLINK...)
foolcontrol OS X requires a Mac running 10.8 or higher (Requires a GIG-E adapter to connect wired to the camera without a router).
foolcontrol iOS requires any iPhone, ipod touch or iPad running iOS 8 or higher.

foolcolor is committed to bring free upgrades and keep apps up to date whenever new camera firmware or features are available for the sales life of the product.
As of today, no foolcolor software ever had a paid upgrade path and we will continue to provide regular updates to existing customers.
It is always possible that, in the future, some complete rewrite of existing app (a new enhanced "foolcat X" for example) or specific additional feature will be offered as a paid upgrade path or in-app purchases.
