  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Fun...

Enjoy what you do, and everyday is FUN. Please keep having FUN all day, year round, and as long as you are here on this Planet.
Keep making great cameras, that change the way we work and have FUN.

Thanks JIM, THE READ TEAM and RED.

Go Red team.. Wish I had nearly as much fun at my job but still.. waiting for my Red camera to be released. I'm sure I'll feel some of your rush as well ;)

Sniff, Sniff, yep something smells funny. Perhaps this winter will be much more interesting than last!

There is one person who probably won't ever get the credit he deserves for RED when all is said and done... Frederic. I talked to him 1st about this project. He introduced me to Ted and Graeme. He did a lot of the legwork in 2005.

I'd like to tip my hat to Frederic. He is now doing what he loves. So are we. Isn't life grand?

Steve is on a different level. I'd prefer to never be named in the same sentence.

Jim

Future generations need a lecture from Jannard like Jobs did at Stanford.

I feel like there should be one big RED gala sometime. A big celebration for RED users and owners, a place we can all come together to meet eachother and the team responsible for putting it all together. I don't know many of you, but there definitely is a sense of family around here that is rare to find with strangers on the internet.

I am having so much fun... the kind of fun where you worry about the Police showing up. Really... it is hard to describe.

This is the single most interesting and challenging thing I could have ever imagined being involved in. Every time I pick up my EPIC, I can hardly believe it. My eyes get the size of golfballs and the feeling is "new" every time I touch it.

The experience here at Reduser is the icing on the cake. This forum is a phenomenon in and of itself. I can't tell you how inspiring it is to have so many support and contribute to what we are doing on a daily basis. This has become my 2nd home.

The people I work with at RED make me so proud. I have seen people rise up and perform beyond all expectations... seemingly 24 hours a day and for years now without rest. Hard to believe. I am in awe.

I really feel like the luckiest guy in the world. I'm not that smart for this to happen without the moon and stars lining up and without a ton of impossible work being done by a truly great group of people...

Thanks to all of you that camp here and push us... and make this so f#¢$ing much fun.

Jim

Love it when you get in this moods... Glad to be part of this incredible adventure... ;)

I guess this post smells like something big coming...

Jim

He he, Don't we love to hear this... ;)

If you want a mind-boggling experience (a true DSMC epiphany) check out www.red.com and go to the Shot on RED section... Photography.

The transformation of the fashion world is hard to have imagined.

Jim

Absolutely!! Hence also why the final decision to take home in one of the Largest, if not the largest World Capital of the Fashion Industry... MILAN, ITALY.

Red did to cameras. What Apple did to cell phones. I'm not comparing people, just the impact the products have!

That's your opinion, but you're not in the best position to be "objective" (if there is such a thing). I don't claim to be an expert on all that Jobs has accomplished, but my lifetime observations and strong intuition tell me that not many people in business have a greater vision, affinity for innovation and out-of-the-box thinking, or fierce competitiveness, desire to "win", and passion for their chosen industry than you do. Honestly, I think you'd be hard pressed to name any company leader that has those attributes in a more impressive and harmoniously balanced combination. And I have no stake in saying that since I'm still waiting to own my first RED product (unless you count T-shirts).

Having fun here in Amsterdam now showing off RED on one of the world's biggest movie screens... Next stop, all over Asia again.

I actually feel a little guilty trekking around the world having so much fun I can barely contain myself, and getting the opportunity to represent RED. People bring us Hugs, Stories of their wild levels of success with our cameras, and all kinds of ways to express how much they dig being part of the RED world. (just over the past few days, 30lbs of swiss chocolate, some of the best wine the world, a giant aged ham, and many other greetings and thanks in so many ways have come our way... not a normal company & customer relationship I would venture to guess :-)

yeah, If you haven't guessed by seeing the smile on my face in 100s of venues around the world - I'm having a bit of Fun :-)

It's a vast honor and pleasure to spend time with so many people working with our tools and getting so much out of it.

+ Ted

Ted stop by Istanbul sometime dinner is on me ,you will love it....
