Chart tape. An AC without chart tape is just a PA that knows the difference between clockwise and counter-clockwise.;
Made in the USA.

HAHA!
Well no, but it does confirm my suspicions, Epic has a strong power draw. It may last up to three hours on a Red Brick, but the gravitational force it creates is very strong. It'll pull not only Tonacis and Josephs, but all RedUsers alike. Be VERY careful when powering it up. It will even draw a Ted from halfway around the world.
It seems like it might be better to ask the question rather than assume a mistake? Just a thought.

...There is the real world and then their is pixel-peeping-land.

There are all sorts of real world factors that are going to affect measurable resolution shot by shot, we don't make movies starring line resolution charts.
Trust me, if we were sitting in a theater with F3 footage and some of the footage that we've shot here on Spider-Man... you'd be speechless. Judging a camera's abilities on Vimeo is exactly what makes DSLRs look so good.
Last thoughts:
Nobody who lost their lives in the Chile or Japan disasters knew that day or night would be their last one alive. This adds a whole new dimension to the proverb "Live each day as if its your last - and someday you'll be right". My suggestion to all of you is to embrace each day with great thankfulness, respect, and personal commitment. Don't take anything or anyone for granted - you or they could very well be gone tomorrow. I know...
Sadly, every pound they've managed to take off the camera, I replaced somewhere around my mid-section..
By a factor of x3. :rolleyes5:
We are in the process of moving EPIC production from Stage 6 at RED Studios Hollywood to the permanent location in Irvine.

I foresee hot Italian babes underwater in 3-D.... a whole new genre, call it "Ketch-O-Vision"
Life is short. Put yourself in a position doing what you were meant to do. Expect curveballs. They come. Do your best and take the consequences.
Life is full of obstacles. They never end. The ones the get past them have the richest life.
I happen to like the passion. While I don't have any Japanese blood, it is human nature to keep going when you have support. The "fanboys" are solely responsible for us swinging for the fences now. It costs a ton of money and a big commitment to invest in the projects we are doing. We would NEVER have done RPPs or EPIC and Scarlet without the vocal encouragement of this community. When people believe in you... you just don't want to let them down.

Everything can, and will, be made better. The only questions are when and by whom?

RAW is like a digital negative. It gives you a ton more flexibility now and in the future.
This program is about having fun... that is the PRIMARY reason that RED exists.

We'll do one better...
Jarred is here at work on crutches... never misses a day no matter what.

Explaining color science:While there is no downside to buying a RED ONE ... you are likely to get hooked and want to keep it and also buy an EPIC!![]()
And finally a quote as important as "everything is subject to change, count on it":"Dark magic" is the best explanation I have heard so far...

We are going to take whatever time is necessary to make each product better than the last.
