  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I can't speak for Red, but they did say that the swap for the same price was not an option. The Canon mount isn't ready yet, and when they do appear in the store it will be a mad rush to get them. There may eventually be an upgrade option, but I'm guessing there will be a price.

As much as I love my RED and as good as its been to me....I hope she wont be too lonely, music to my ears, CRANK IT UP!!!!
 
Well for myself, it'll be almost four years to the day when I first ordered my R1 on October 19, 2007. Exciting times!

Oh don't get me wrong :) actually I'm waiting for EPIC ... Don't know if I can afford it for sure with all the needed acc. ;) so we could start "low" with scarlet. But somehow that word does not fit the scarlet ;) at all.
 
A flood of Epic X's on the way? Uh oh, I guess I won't be able to pretend that this is a medium format camera much longer. Rangers and security guards are bound to catch on at some point...

No problem. I will wire the money this coming week anyway. I like to already have the funds already in my account when I get the "ready to ship" email.
 
As to using your Red One EVF on X, there was a comment a few months ago from an M owner that he liked the original EVF better than the Bomb. Ergo, they both work on M (educated deduction).

Yes, someone said to me yesterday night, we'll have an Epic-X at our disposal in 14 days. That's a dream to become true since the first day we placed our money in a RED reservation, on April 25 2006, succeeding other ones within the six months after.
