  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

EPIC-X begins...

It was going to be an upgrade, but RED swapped the bodies over in their entirety, hence the X.

Wow, time flys...can't believe it's been 5 years.
You need to come back to New Orleans and direct some spots for us...and check out our new studio.

Your too kind Greg - but yes next trip to the east coast I will schedule a trip via New Orleans - I just tend to get stuck on the west coast.

I really admire the quality and technical innovation of Digital Fx - and I would recommend any RED user readers who dont know Greg's work and his company to check it out.. they are really a brilliant company who 'gets it'.
Plus Greg has the greatest collectable camera collection I have ever seen.

Got my 103 email a few days ago. wiring funds and getting my within a week or so. fuck yeah RED.

What kind of bottom plate do I need for Arri standard Greg? 15mm and 19mm ET dovetails.

Greg Melnick and Mark Peterson and Michael Cioni and Steve Freebairn's RED leadership has cerainly inspired our humble little company up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Pioneers of the pioneers :)

I got the email for 363 Wednesday at 12PM. Lucky me I already wired money weeks ago! Counting the seconds....

Your old Red Bridge Plate (15mm or 19mm) will work fine in combo with either the Wooden Camera Riser plate or the FMJ Riser Plate. Also ET's Hybrid plate also works with either.
