  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Sorry, had to comment on your avatar. Too funny -- I got pulled over heading home from a shoot late one night, and my EPIC was outfitted in the same manner as your pic, buckled into the seat next to me. The officer looked at the camera and said, "Woah, that's one HELL of a camera. It looks crazy expensive - what do you do?" After we talked about it for a second, I found myself on my way minus any infractions. And no, I was not being a menace - was simply tired, driving 60mph -- in a school zone. Totally kidding about that last part.

Moral of the story: keep an EPIC nearby at all times.

Sorry...back to the more serious stuff.
 
I would have been arrested for suspicious activity or think I stole it :sad:

It's like a colour resolution of 65mm FILM STOCK or...???!!!!

And please don't mix the base colour with a sort or grading or lighting as most people DO!!!!!

Just show US what Dragon can do in its basic colour science of today!!!!!!

And of course tomorrow would be something like an another story as well!!!!!

Nelumbo Nucifera Lotus flower it's a common to find in Sri Lanka (Ceylon) today!!!!
Shot HANDHELD on Sigma DP1 Merrill 19mm Sigma lens (28mm FF) (anyway this is a crop from the original larger image!!!!).
The last, in a comparison don't mix a sort of macro lens (100mm) with this wide angle lens (19mm) or even saturation as somebody (pretty hilariously) tried to do it here before!!!

Dragon desperately needs a Viennese test or a test in Vienna, Austria as son as possible!!!!

Its a heart or a centre from German, English, French, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Indian, Brazilian, and Japanese way of doing things!!!!

Ouch., sorry, I just forgot to mention Africa and Middle East!!!!
 
Sanjin, in kindness, please stop posting Sigma pictures on Dragon threads. We know you like the Sigma. ;)
 
Tom, some of us would like to see a direct compare with the old sensor. Something like a night shot maybe ?

Great to see cool Redusers getting the first Dragons and putting them to proper use. This is one helluva camera indeed.
 
Don't mean to be rude but with all do respect, when you guys get the DRAGON can you spare us with the flowers and grass pictures? We need people cars buildings etc. to get the real feel and looks of the camera work.

Sorry Andy to bother you but I couldn't resist just because I like a real wide gamut colours!!!

Also do not mix the saturation with a wide gamut colours like somebody did it before here!!!!

Time to give some of the haters some stunning shots mate.
My stress test was designed to see what we could get out of it... I'm hoping your testing will fill in the holes and show us all the delicate beauty that can be captured from it.
Really looking forward to your videos.
