  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Birger Lens Mount Reservations

Form Birger yesterday email: "We will split the remaining backlog of Canon Lens Mounts into two shipping groups. We will start emailing the first group today, for shipment between 2 and 8 October, and the second, by 16 October, for shipment between 15 and 24 October"

ANyone fom the firsts group received this email?
How big this first group will be?
 
We Novemberers should be in the first group.
If not i'm gonna dance the rain dance on Maryland on the 11th as a personal gift for the WW (Widdings Wedding)
 
I got my email notification! Yeah!

There isn't a a smiley doing backflips, so I'll have to settle for a big grin... :)

By the way, to give everyone a marker, I ordered 1/25 and I'm in the Oct. 2-8 batch.

Saying which batch you are in?

I got an email a couple days ago that was a generic kinda thing. Nothing since and I ordered Nov 24th.

The one I got today was to confirm my shipping address as well as my order and was telling me that my unit would ship between the 2 and 8 of october (making me in the first group).
 
Well it seems as though some people in the Jan. group are getting emails. Are any more of the people getting emails from November or December.
 
So there is a 1st group and a 2nd group and that takes care of all the orders. WOW.
So it looks like I will be in the second group.

Looking forward to finally being invoiced for the total amount.

Does this mean by the end of Oct. I will have my mount? So many question, so little time.

I ordered on Nov.28th, paid balance in early August when they said my mount would ship. No email.

Maybe they are getting the email we got in early August. The one that said we'd ship by the 13th of August. Since we've already gotten that one maybe the next one for us is the tracking number.
