Can anyone confirm?
Yeah. I thought I was a handheld rockstar one day when I was doing some very still moments and they were really solid. Then I realized I had stabilization on. Oh well, "they" think I'm a rockstar. LOL. I turn it off for more frenetic stuff.
Overall - Birger has it's quirks but does work well. Just completed a movie with both Birger and Bartech on Canon lenses. I really liked the Bartech, but the Birger performs as well and is faster on big racks. Biggest problem I've had with the Birger is losing sync. Occasionally happens while wired. Bartech had better wireless range/consistency and longer battery life.
Maybe there's a way to build an external battery pack for the Impero that lasts longer?
