But the size and height of the 7inch may affect the balancing on the letus helix no?
Guys, I tried it @ IBC...it's GREAT!
The res is amazing...it's retina like!
You can't see the pixels, so initially it gives the false impression of low res, then your eyes adapt to the real res and BOOM ! ! !
I'd love to see a side by side photo from IBC of the 5" and 7". Wish I was there!
A lot of people do that Matt. I'm looking forward to the 7".
Thanks Mikael!
I wonder how many exposure problems come from people closing down due to the blown out image on the 5" without any of the stop lights actually being lit up (closing down because you are exposing by monitor). Would be an interesting study![]()
Ha. Definitely made that mistake my first time shooting with Epic. Dark room, bright monitor, moving fast. Definitely had some mad underexposure. Opposite issue outside the next day - could barely see the monitor (even with a hoodman), was worried everything was super-dark - ended up overexposing by 1-1.5 stops. Thanks Mikael!

Yup. This is really interesting as to bringing exposure up practically for the DOP….
Would've been interesting to see both at "mid" position.
