  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

96 fps...

Jim, why didn't you crank it to 121 fps Wide Screen?

maybe he didn't want to chop off that deep blue sky at the top or turquoise blue water on the bottom? :)

Love the Fiji pics. Reminds me of my trip there a few years back, only been to the main island though. Fiji is one of the most awesome places I have been to, anything grows, many varieties of coconut, all types of fruit and awesome food. Awesome people, not much like having a group of men with machetes run up to your car just to find out they are friends of the driver who are cutting weeds so they can send their youth group to the other side of the island on a camp out. When you get away from the tourist areas though life is pretty simple, they invited us to a meal and all they had was some breadfruit, coconut and tapioca root.

I wish I could swim in that awesome water!! Thanks to my uncle taking me to see JAWS when i was a kid killed swimming in the ocean for me!! J.J. Can't wait to see the motion shots from the EPIC at 96 Frames!!!

Any chance to still see some motion, Mr. Jannard? I would so like to see it! Thanks!

The owner of the Red company with a Red camera in Fiji?. I bet a million dollars that those images you just saw, are coming from a Dragon sensor.. sshhh.. don't tell anyone..

I was thinking that same thing. Why would he take any other camera down there? Perhaps it was a side by side comparison excursion and we will eventually see the "Dragon" shots of that same scene?

Would love to see some of this footage.

Jim, come back, we miss you :D

When I saw the RAVEN introduced I kind of felt your hand in that. Knowing how you appreciated the less than affluent customer base, I just wondered if this wasn't your way of keeping RED relevant to that base. That would also explain why you handed the reins to Jarred who understands the need for RED to become more corporate and how to objectively make that happen. You two make a great team.
