Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)
Update: sold!
For Sale: Canon CN7x 17-120mm Cine-servo zoom lens
Fantastic all purpose doc lens, but I'm not doing the kind of work where I use it much anymore. Too great a lens to spend all its time on the shelf.
Lens is in 'Like New' condition, low usage. Currently EF Mount, but comes...
I have 3 items in for repairs, and two weeks after acknowledgement that they'd received my shipment, I still hadn't gotten a quote or heard anything back. I emailed inquiries end of last week. No response.
I called today and was told that they're upgrading their backend and everything is...
Changing up my power situation and I am selling the following:

1x Anton Bauer Dual Simultaneous Charger Price: $500 (New @ B&H: $634)
1x Anton Bauer Quad Simultaneous Charger Price: $850 (New @...
I've followed all the instructions. Done this many times in the past on the same computer without a problem.
This time, I get an error in the upgrade utility that says 'unable to connect to attached device'.
Any thoughts? I've tried multiple USB cables. restarting everything., etc.
I need to put some specific clips back onto an SSD, so we can play them back and record some behind the scenes dialogue as if it was live during the original capture. We'll be recreating moments going back many months, so clips will be coming off harddrives with the backups spanning 90 some...
Can someone look at their RED One's RED Drive AC/DC power supply and tell me the polarity of the center pin? I had to buy a universal (switchable) power supply and don't know if the center should be positive or negative.
Also, specs are 12V 1.5A, correct?
Thanks,

If you had to clean your Epic's sensor (Well not the sensor itself, but the filter in front) what product would be best. Arctic Butterfly? Swabs?
This hasn't been an issue for me yet, but I'm in the early weeks of 5 months of continuous filming in a damp rainforest. Quick xmas break in the...
Just wanted to give a shout out to RED because a wildlife series I worked on for National Geographic won an Emmy for Cinematography last week at the News & Documentary Emmys. This series was not exclusively filmed with RED cameras, but they were used on a lot of shoots, and more than a few...
Sorry, I know there are numerous similar threads, but none that i've read have had a solution for me so far.
Here's my situation:
- I have 12 clips showing up as 'OFFLINE' in Red Cine X build 17.
- my original media is still intact on the cards, but those 12 clips still show offline when...
I'm having a lot of EPIC files showing up as offline when I do a Finder copy from my RedMags to hard drives. I want to get an app that can help me double check that the corruption is not occurring in my transfer. I've heard of ShotPut Pro, but what other good options are out there for this...
Anyone had experience with an SSD drive failing? The SanDisk Extreme 240gb drive I was using in the Pix 240i w/ my epic seems to have failed while copying the data to another drive. Now when attached to the Mac via the Pix Caddy FW800 it says "The disc you inserted into the computer could not...
I'm an EPIC owner, and I've been hired to shoot a documentary TV series. Mostly sort of standard travel type stuff, some episodes a bit more heavy on human / run-n-gun stuff, but other eps more heavy on wildlife (my specialty).
The production is excited about the possibilities and...
Is it possible to trim raw files?
I shoot a lot of highspeed stuff of wildlife, and sometimes waiting for action to develop can make clips really long. I'd love to be able to keep the files in redcode, but trim them down. Pre-record and/or ramping in the beta firmware helps with this sort...
Trying to figure out a good workflow to catalog and archive stuff I shoot for possible stock footage. I'm new to this side of things. Normally I just shoot stuff on a project by project basis, and send my drives to the producers... so I'm looking for advice about an efficient workflow now...
