I need to put some specific clips back onto an SSD, so we can play them back and record some behind the scenes dialogue as if it was live during the original capture. We'll be recreating moments going back many months, so clips will be coming off harddrives with the backups spanning 90 some different cards.
My question is, do I need to alter the clip names to make this work so they are sequential and match the name of the formatted card in order to get them to play in camera, or can C001 from card A011 be followed directly by C034 from card B057.
To take this a step further, could clips from a RED One MX be played back in camera on an EPIC?
Please let let me know if you have any experience with any of this. Can / will test this myself, but thought I'd see what others might know first.
Thanks,
Skip
