Just wanted to give a shout out to RED because a wildlife series I worked on for National Geographic won an Emmy for Cinematography last week at the News & Documentary Emmys. This series was not exclusively filmed with RED cameras, but they were used on a lot of shoots, and more than a few REDUSERs share the Win for this series.
Filming took place all over north and south america during 2010 & 2011. Much was shot on the RED One, although I did get my hands on an Epic-M for the first time for some shoots in the summer of 2011.
It also should be noted that there was a tie for this Emmy, and the other winner Winged Migrations (Discovery, but also airing as Earth Flight on PBS) were also filmed mostly on the RED ONE in 3D.
