I've followed all the instructions. Done this many times in the past on the same computer without a problem.

This time, I get an error in the upgrade utility that says 'unable to connect to attached device'.

Any thoughts? I've tried multiple USB cables. restarting everything., etc.

Nevermind! Fixed it. If anyone has this problem, here is what I did.

After disconnecting from any other networks. Rather than changing the IP for the RNDIS/ Ethernet Gadget 'manually' to 192.168.0.1 (as outlined by RED), I put this back at 'Using DHCP' to which it automatically assigned the IP 192.168.0.20 It worked.

I stopped updating the REDMOTE on my PC the day RED released the first camera-firmware with a build in updater and never looked back. ;)
