Here you go.. Just in time for all of you that couldn't make it to IBC .. something for you to play with. For all of you at IBC, go take a look at it in action in our mini-booth.

The first beta of the GPU accelerated REDCINE-X.

This first release supports OpenCL on both Nvidia and ATI cards and we are working in collaboration with Nvidia for CUDA support that should drop in October... it will be well worth the wait as internally with CUDA we see a further boost in performance.

This is just a taste of the beginning. Currently with Dual 8 core Xeons with a single Titan we are seeing 6K 24fps Full quality playback in real time with REDCODE 9:1 and above.

Multiple GPU support is coming soon. With the K6000 just around the corner and 12 core Xeons available for purchase as of yesterday for the PC guys, your rendering life should become alot easier very soon :)

This Is really nice Jarred.
Question do you know if Autodesk / FLAME 2014 will utilize this? As I understand this is only in RCXP now but I guess the third party programers could use it as well or?

Thanks

just finished a 15 1/2 hr day this totally ends my day with a grand slam

now now now which GPU should I buy?

building a QUO hackintosh can't wait to see the benchmarks

Is RAM important like the 780 v Titan or is it more CUDA based for the NVIDIA cards?

The more memory on your graphics card the better it will be able to deal with 5K or 6K frames. They take up a fair amount of space ;)

Don't mess with hackintosh. Just get a good Windows machine. RAM is very important. TITAN is the s*** (and this comes from an RCX developer that has is an AMD 7970 overclocked to 1.1 GHz at home).
