  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Where in line are we and how manmy ordered?

So really no one has said how my info (and I assume others) got on that document, I don't care for names, i'm not holding a pitch fork, just curious.
I kinda wish I did the PL mount to get the camera sooner.

The google docs, document? Posters took info posted on Reduser and added it in. That's all.

Interestingly enough, I don't recall saying I ordered a 4 pack of mags and batteries, perhaps in other posts. But someone wrote in my spot and said I just moved up a spot. Not sure the reason for that, or how they knew. Could be weird, or a good thing if a rep wrote it haha, I'm gonna hope for the second.

I do apologize, I went sifting through the thread and picked up any SO numbers and placed them into the spreadsheet then passed it along to all these good people to make adjustments as they felt fit, seemed the best way to maintain it...

Sorry if you didn't want your SO on there, feel free to take it out :)

Props to the person that took out the names, didn't think it would be a problem but realized people would probably want to be anonymous, again, apologizes, hope I didn't cause any inconvenience to any of you
 
I really was more perplexed, I dont care, no apologies needed, save those for the wife :), Im a pretty open book. No harm done.

The full amount has already been deposited on my Red account.
 
Yup, I'm 949. And I wasn't at the event. Ordered online on Nov 3rd.

He didn't say much else other than verify my funds. I asked if everything is on schedule for Canon mount orders and he said yes -- but my package might be missing the side handle come the day for delivery (or in my case, will-call). :(

Damn, I just called Red today but they wouldn't tell me anything. I hope this means they are shipping a large quantity of the AL mounts.
 
I'll let you guys know if they contact me again. Next time they do, it'll be when my package is ready to go. Although I'm several #'s behind you guys, I might end up with mine sooner since I'm local and opted to pick up rather than deal with shipping.

But no side handle? grrrrrr

I for one would love to know something. It seems like every other promise for delivery dates for almost everything RED makes has come and gone? I for one am going to be super upset if the promised shipping start date of the AL mount Scarlet X's aren't shipping tomorrow in some small dose.

I am following the forum for months now and it is just under one month since I ordered my Scarlet AL mount. What I find very upsetting is that Brent, Jarred and Jim have all posted in the forums and not one of them have commented or answered backorder questions with any real substance. Don't they realize we all just want a few simple answers to some very simple questions.

Guys are we going to have our cameras soon? You know the one's we are dropping so many thousands of dollars on and the one's that some of us bought based on ship dates.

I hate to be a nag, but it just bothers me that I keep reading posts of guys asking and if they ask to much other members belittle them like they are not part of the forum or RED crew. If AL mounts ship as promised tomorrow that is cool, but if not I think Jim and Jarred and Brent all need to start answering some questions. I mean we wouldn't be asking if they were giving us info. BTW, I am very understanding of Reds position in all this, but we are the consumers here and we deserve to know if we are seeing our cameras soon.
