  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I imagine the Birger "might" be able to be used as the receiver for an Inclino. The Birger has 2 unused ports. If so, you'd get wireless Focus, Iris & Zoom with only 1 Inclino motor. That's pretty f'n cool.

That would be WAY cool.

Curt,

will we be able hook an Inclino to a Birger mount directly?

If so, I would assume we would need a cable to connect the mount to the Inclino and and an Inclino motor only.

How much is that?

This is amazing. Thanks for all your help Joel- That situation certainly is would be a dream come true. Even if I have to get a receiver for just one Inclino- that's still pretty freakin great!

Guys, I'm a little short on time but wanted to give a quick update. We just got word from our plastics guy... tooling will be done on Friday or Monday at the latest. This means that the parts will be ready to go by as early as Tuesday or Wed of next week. We have had about 30 people ask for their Impero/Inclino early... we are doing our best to get them out in the next couple days. Getting these first 30 units out has turned out to be a little learning experience on the bureaucracy of our government - apparently any commodity code shipping that is greater than $2500 needs to be cleared through the census bureau (AES)... I thought we had our account squared away but we ended up spending a few days getting our account activated and learning the system. We are up and running and will have 20 units out later today.

Here's some pretty tooling pictures I took today to hold you over.... there's still a few machining operations left but its looking really nice.

Thanks for the update Curt.
We believe in VFS! Receive an Impero it's a matter of faith...

Carlo

Is the group of 30 still the early buyers group? I was under the impression that all the folks who wanted it early were not limited to a group of 30.

Also, aren't these about 1.5 to 2 weeks out from being ready to ship complete anyways?

I just got the tracking number - Lim

Hi Lim,

Are you one of the first thirty orders or did you elect to get yours unfinished and pay for shipping return etc?

I have order #7 and have no tracking numbers yet.

Cheers, Tim.

I received a tracking number as well (and it's been picked up!). I'm in the first 30 apparently, I didn't request early shipment... Sounds like they're finally here for real!

Cheers,
Dennis Wilkins

Tim,

I am one of the 30s. You should be receiving the tracking number - unless you have changed your contact since your order. I was asked to order 2 bus cables which i did not placed earlier on.

Lim

I am number 12 and no tracking number
