  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Update......

Well, my half of my frames were corrupt on my last render... so rebooting the farm and having another look at this situation!

I guess I'll miss out unless there's an(other) extension/grace period (for super crap late-comers and stragglers, LOL). as I can't run the math at the moment.

No, Brent and Jarred have confirmed that December is the target for 8K sensor upgrades, for those of us, who prepaid ar NAB, right after the option was posted as available...

There are a few out in the wild, but not from that process, AFAIK.

Simple answer. Two weeks ago, that rep did not know. We decided to drop price and lose the credit. Again, this is a better deal than it was two weeks ago. Ask me if I want cash or gift card, same answer everytime.

To be clear, if you want to eventually shoot 8K on Mg, the board sets will need to be updated with the CF set. This is not a conversion to CF structural materials. At least that is the plan as of now…

Sorry, man. But like I said above to Christoffer, even if you miss this window, the deal that is out there after is even better than what was available two weeks ago.

Yup, we have always said if you are upgraded to DRAGON, that is the only path to future upgrades...
 
I know you are in a short time-frame to get approved but Southern Cal Leasing could be the answer to anyone wanting to take advantage of the generous offer from RED on the MG Weapon + discount + accessory credit.

I THINK you can put down your deposit to hold the deal and if you do not get or are unsatisfied with the terms for approval from SCL, cancel your order and get your deposit back?

Kemalettin, RED and 3rd party companies aren't going to answer this question. If or if there is not a product in development that hasn't been announced, there's no reason to inform competitors about such a thing before it exists.

No worries Brent - I'm up to my neck in rendering and a nightmare deadline at the moment, so I'm sort of stuffed to plan things out. Basically I was going to skip Weapon and just buy some stuff for my Epic Dragon... but haven't been keeping an eye on much recently due to work/deadlines etc.

If it's OK, can I ask a couple fo questions?

On a separate note, is there any 'planned' end date for the redmag to mini-mag scheme? As (oddly) this has a relevance to my planning.

And (this is something another RU mentioned to me in a PM), if I order before deadline, could I then take a few days and work out if updating works for me... and if not, just get the order cancelled? That might be a way to get an order in, then I can check out in a few days and get my numbers sorted, then decide if I can go the Weapon upgrade route.

I know it's my fault for not staying on top of things, but sometimes other stuff gets in the way :) so, maybe let me know if the above is something that would work and won't be an issue (this might also help others out who haven't been following this). Thanks.

PS - what's the UK/GMT cut off time?

Ahh- Phil, you mean to type Thursday 07:59am? Just did an internet search on 11:59PST... guess I have a late night of numbers crunching.

Would be good if Brent can find the time to reply to my earlier mail (re order then any issues if cancelling etc).

I think Phil meant 7:59 AM? in GMT land. Meaning you get an extra 8 hours (local time)

Ahh- Phil, yes, just did an internet search (but, I follow the mantra of Trust Mr Holland first - then the internet second - LOL)... guess I have a late night of number crunching ahead.

Would be good if Brent can find the time to reply to my earlier mail (re place order then if there are any issues if cancelling etc).

Thanks guys, been a very long day here, so I'm not exactly at the top of my game :) - and I'm still struggling to get stuff finished, so I'm hoping to get a bit of time to think this over (and wait on Brent's reply).
