The accessory credit is for anything in their store. I used mine to get the new 7" LCD. Will use the rest for the upcoming side handle or towards a 1 TB mini mag.

Use your credit for whatever you want later. For example, current or future modules.

Hi! I'll try to clear things up.

The price of the MG Weapon has now dropped $5000 since they are using aluminum in some of the internal parts instead of Magnesium. Aluminum parts is a lot easier to make so they would save time by the switch. And by saving time they would save cost and get a quicker turnaround.

If you put your MG Weapon deposit in now. The price is $29.500 minus your trade in. I have an Epic Dragon that was upgraded before NAB so my trade in would be $15.500. The deposit is $5000 so the remaining cost is then (for me with my specific trade in) $9000. After I pay the $9000 (plus shipping I would imagine) and take delivery of my new Weapon camera I would get a $5000 accessory credit to use later. It's not deducted from the total.

To get the accessory credit you have to put your MG Weapon order in by end of day tomorrow November 18. EOD it at RED headquarters in Irvine as I understood it.

That is a different trade in. You can use the accessory credit to buy t-shirts if you want. I would use it to buy some mini-mags and a 7 inch screen plus some Redvolts XL's.

All of those accessories come with the package. It's what you get on top of the accessory credit. To get you started with the Weapon body since you can't use any of your old modules anymore. So yeah buying a new LCD would be perfect.

That is correct as I have understood it.

I do think you only send in your Brain though and no mount or side SSD. They will use the Sensor only from the brain as I've understood it. But I might be wrong.

To be clear, the accessory credit cannot be applied to the cost of the upgrade. You get it after you have paid for the upgrade.

Since I might switch from the Raven to Weapon (huge jump in cash), I really like the DSMC² Base I/O V-Lock Expander that comes with the Raven because it has the built in V-Mount plate. Any chance I can purchase that for the Weapon on it's own? Any idea of the cost?

Also, will there be any Weapon MG bundles to save a few bucks?

Yes, the V-Lock I/O Expander will be posted for individual sale around end of the month.

For new Mg WEAPON orders, I would expect a set bundle, yes.

Pure cash would be $14.000 and you get an extra 5000 $ credit to spend in the RED store
But AFAIK you cannot use that extra accessory 5000 $ credit as a discount on your upgrade and only pay 9000 $...

Ah. Although the terms and conditions I read through before putting in my order said only the brain. No mention on mount or SSD.

Correct the 5000 accessory credit cannot be used to discount the brain, it is strictly for accessories, mines gonna be used for the new evf
