Unfortunately not, time collision with a bigger commercial project shot with Scarlet-W. I can tell you awesome pictures of this cam...
The project is in post-production now... little sneak-peek (without color-correction/grading only LUT):

Gorgeous! These make me even more excited for my Scarlet-W!

.......Based on monitor output, to a Sony 25" A250 OLED, the noise floor is 2 FULL STOPS lower than my Carbon Weapon Dragon. Amazeballs. I can't believe I'm writing this, but I'm actually going to have a difficult decision when I get notified for my VV Dragon cut. Mind blown.
........
Ok, I'm in. 100%.
Well I was actually already in before I read that. So make that 200 % ;)

Thanks to Carson, Casey, and Matt (plus whomever forgot to include a gift message in his) for today's haul....

Hey Sergio

I know your DP and his Schneider lens set, hehe
Great stuff.

Please allow me to chim in. Here are two recent projects I shot with a loaner Scarlet-W
https://vimeo.com/183370470
Most shot at ISO 1250-1600 and 75-100fps with standard OPFL
Footage are straight out of camera. No grading at all. DR is incredible. Coming from Red1 MX, the step up is HUGE!

Here some aerials I shot for a commercial. Footage ungraded.

As much as I love the images from Scarlet-W, I am on upgrade path to Epic-W.

THANKS JARRED AND HIS TEAM FOR THIS INCREDIBLE WORK AND GENEROUS OFFER! I AM SO THANKFUL.
AND 11 OCT IS MY BIRTHDAY TOO. IT CAN'T GET BETTER.

So after taking my dog to the vet, I had to go back 20pages to find out what the hell happened!

My life and livelihood is based on RED. Having been laid off and jobless for years and starting my own little income, I don't own any other cameras and I don't offer myself as a DP/Cam Op service. I rent out ONE camera. My Red Epic Dragon (which I insure and watch over it like a hawk). Started with Scarlet and then Epic MX and now Dragon.

I'd love to go to Epic-W but will follow whatever Jarred sets out. I'm grateful and if I can afford it, I will continue doing what I do cause I love my job and support the Red company's mission. I'll continue upgrading where I can to match my clientele (which isn't the high end productions but rather the indie crowd that has a small budget but not low budget) AND to whatever Red offers because I appreciate the opportunity.

As a Epic Dragon owner, I am simply grateful. If Epic-W comes my way, I can't be more grateful than I already am. I eat because of RED.

Hoi Sergio, alles guet? :-)
Well, I am not an active Reduser. But with Epic-W and all the great new stuff, it is different :-)
Yep, André and I have collaborated in many many projects for the past 3 years. I can only say the same about him.
Keep up with the good work and see you around.

I think some people forget how amazing some of these older machines still are. They were top of the line then and still relevant now.

Wow, I should have had a huge bowl of popcorn while catching up on this thread today! I have stayed current with the upgrade path since I bought my 1st Red One in 2007 as an early adopter. The upgrade offers have always been unbelievably generous. Always a no-brainer. I can't thank Jim, Jarred, Brent, Graeme...EVERYBODY at Red enough. Even though I will be upgrading my Weapon Mg to Weapon Helium, I still have my two Red Ones and will continue to keep them. They come in handy if I have a client with limited budget that wants to do a two-camera shoot. For those who can't afford to upgrade, that is understandable. But if you're upset that you have a piece of cucumber instead of a grape...quit whining! Be thankful that you have any kind of Red cam at all. Shut the fuck up and go out and shoot something awesome with what you DO have. Red Ones STILL make incredible images. After all, two-thirds of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) was shot with Red One-MX. It won the Oscar for Best Cinematography in 2012 (Jeff Cronenweth). Just saying...

Spent the day off exploring Block Island with my lovely girlfriend and returned to this.

Hope when the dust settles that things work out. Love the community and we're all getting a bit antsy in anticipation of the 11th. Appreciate all that you do RED team.
