Or $35K-$40K. The stormtroopers were $60K each. With a $10K discount, that takes it down to $50K. The Scarlet-W is $10K. So $40K needed even with the discount. But maybe the final body material of the Helium Weapon will make it cheaper than the Stormtroopers or simply the efficiencies of mass production. Either way, the Epic-W is the way to go if you don't need slo-mo 8K.

Wow...I'm away from this thread for only 2 days and I'm still trying to catch up at page 313 out of 350 pages! This is awesome... I'd say to upgrade my Weapon Mg 6K to Weapon Helium 8K for 15K is a no-brainer great deal!

Brent & Jarred: a bottle of ST. GEORGE ABSINTHE VERTE is on your way....I'm sure you'll enjoy that more than flowers...

Sorry, 350 threads and not enough Japanese whiskey to decipher all this input.
This MG to W and VV and 8k Dragon vs 8k Helium S35 has me dizzy.
Will all Epic-W's be equipped with Helium? Or are we now just choosing which sensor SIZE Helium?
Is Helium currently only in the S35 format? Or is the new Epic-W still Dragon, but larger?
Can anyone just clarify this for me?

Epic-W and Weapon Helium are the same Helium sensor. Weapon Helium allows for faster frame-rates and lower compression. Epic-W maxes out at 8K FF at 30 FPS.

Is Helium currently only in the S35 format? its a bit larger than s35 at 8k, its just about the equivalent size of dragon 6k, just barely smaller.

If you had ordered the S-W I/O-Package, will you be able to keep the accessories after switching to Epic-W? Since the price discount is based on brain to brain I guess?

David, in post #3220 Jarred speaks of the simplified RED lineup and illustrates where the cameras and sensors all fall into place.

When the dust settles, there will be:

Dragon DSMC2:

Raven
Scarlet-W
Weapon Dragon 6k
Weapon Dragon 8k VV

Helium DSMC2:

Epic-W 8K
Weapon Helium 8K
