  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The List - Please maintain

Got my allocation for the Scarlet! Sidehandle ready to ship soon as well. BTW, anybody know what the width of the scarlet is? I want to buy a swat rail for the sliding top handle and would like to get one the same width as the camera body so it doesen't stick out on the sides. I'm guessing 100mm rails? Does the rail come with 1/4-20 bolts for mounting to camera, or do I have to buy them sepraratley?

There's a rendering floating around that shows the Epic at 98mm but I believe that is without the SSD module.

Yep seems that the 100mm is right on the money. It looks like thats what most are using on their Epics and Scarlets since that was the only one available at first.
 
Looks like they must have gotten all or the PLs allocated this week. Hopefully they really start sending out all of those ALs again next week!
 
Scarlet Al mount arrived in Seattle today! But I'm on a 6 week editing gig in Denver. I have all of my accessories too. So annoying. My girlfriend sent me a video of her taking it out of the box.

I actually thought it wouldn't arrive while I was working out of state; I didn't think Red would catch up with all the orders; I'm an idiot.

Dont know the serial #... Oh and my side handle was allocated yesterday - package complete... Just NOT IN MY HANDS...........

Well that kinda sucks. But Congrats! What was your SO# and when did you order?
 
My Scarlet arrived on Wed. SO 51569. :) Side handle arriving Teus. then that's it from my original Nov. 4 order. I also just received notification on a DSMC top plate order placed in January.

For those further down the line in December, I reckon you could be pleasantly surprised by your camera delivery dates now Red Has worked their way through the bun rush of the 1st few days of orders. Of course then there is the other bun rush of orders around Dec 31 beating the price rise.

Not so fast, Mike. :smiley: I ordered a Scarlet with an Al mount on the 7th of November and, with SO 2959, am still waiting the allocation email. So, I would say they haven't yet gotten though the "first few days." I do have everything else from my order except the Side Handle and the Scarlet itself.

Me too... And I'm SO 6500+ Can't remember exact number off hand. I think 6585. Sure wish it would show up soon though... bills to pay and people keep asking if I have it yet for rentals.
 
Apologies Terry, I forgot about the rest of November in the above statement! I still reckon things are moving a lot quicker so....... from my precise demographic calculations I reckon you can be the barometer if my grand theory holds any weight.

P.S. These calculations are derived from observing the xcel list before it went on holidays to the Bermuda triangle then sticking my finger out my window in strong S.E. wind & then observing my peppermint tea leaf patterns after appreciating 3 glasses of Red..........wine that is. ;)
