  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The List - Please maintain

Mine shipped in under 10 business days after I received the allocation notice. Just go ahead and count on 2 full weeks + shipping and you won't likely be disappointed.
 
By the way, I just received my 5" Touch LCD today. I ordered it on December 21st (SO-58004).

RED ONEs, EPICs and Scarlets can have the same name. You just can't have two EPICs or two Scarlets with the same name. :-)

I just realized this was my 1,000th post. That's 1,000 posts in three months, thirteen days (more than nine and a half posts per day). How fascinating.

Did you order your whole package then or just the LCD?
 
My Scarlet-X AL and redmote from SO#1320 is arriving by fedex on Monday the 20th! My bomb squad rep notified me it will be Scarlet-X #1031 :)

I got my allocation email mid Jan but had to delay my allocation ~2weeks since I was going to be out of the country and didn't want it to arrive while I was gone. Not sure how long it would have been from allocation notification to confirmation, but from the beginning of allocation to delivery at my door it will be 10 days. They estimated 5-7days for allocation, 3-5days for processing, and 3-5 days for shipping. Not sure if the confirmation I gave them was to begin allocation or processing exactly but I guess the timeline pretty much fits their estimates.

Anyone in NYC interested in doing some tests?

Brian, got allocation email the same day as you. Got shipping notice tonight, but probably after Fed Ex cutoff so it will ship tomorrow.
 
My Sacrlet arrives tomorrow (SO 51922 ordered on Nov. 4th 1:30pm) and I'm working out of state. My girlfriend will have to receive it; I won't get to open it until the 2nd of March. Absurd.
 
Just got my Allocation notificati​on mail this morning for Scarlet with Al Canon mount. I'm SO 1985 in Europe.
 
Brian, you should still be waiting on two more emails, paid and shipping.

After 5-7 business days Red will take the money out of your account or contact you if there isn't enough.
After they have taken your money it's another 3-5 business days before it is ready to ship at which point FedEx will email you with a notification and tracking number.
It will then take however long it takes to ship.

My allocation email was 25th January and my Scarlet arrives 20th February according to FedEx to Australia.
It actually left Red on the 13th February.

Hi Mitch. Thank you for your post; it does indeed help. :-) Everything you stated, from what I've read so far, is what RED typically appears to be doing. I'm just wondering how it is that Mike ordered his brain after I did and he's already received his shipment notification!

That's another 1000 SO# to go for me... I'm feeling really depressed... Never expected it to take this long, to burn 20k$

SO-1879, named 'EdieS' has been allocated to France (ordered a short beautifull night of november - AL mount).

Anyone want to offer a guess as to how many actual Canon Al camera orders there are between this one and 2959??
 
according to the list that was up there were about 20 or so between that and 2938. but thats only for ones that were actually on the list. So who knows.
