  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The List - Please maintain

An Idea to keep "the list" alive:
After checking the List 10 times a day i recognized, that more and more i startet looking only at the topmost part where justin had updated the "LAST SO# SHIPPED" and the "HIGHEST SERIAL NUMBER ARRIVED" ...
These are the most important infos innit ... and everybody can check back against their own SO to guesstimate. We don't need a list to figure out these two numbers. How about everybody who posts in here includes
the LAST KNOWN SO# SHIPPED and the HIGHEST KNOWN SERIAL NUMBER ARRIVED ... in his/her post - so these number are always in the last post. And if someone has updated figures feel free to post. That way
we will be there again. Knowing where the cutting edge is.

I Start here by remembering vaguely that:

LAST KNOWN CAMERA SO# SHIPPED: 1753
HIGHEST KNOWN SERIAL NUMBER ARRIVED: 1021

If ya have a higher number feel free to post ;-)

Before everyone freaks out, it is a PL order. Ordered January 5th.

SO 1960 has been allocated to Stockholm, Sweden! We've named it Sam after red europe's best sales rep Sam Measure! Thanks a million Sam!

Wow wish I already owned/could afford to buy PL glass with my package at the time of order. I guess I would have defiantly had it by now or had it allocated at least, lol.
 
Scarlet-X Al Cannon SO 2141 allocated today. Sounds like allocations are spanning a pretty wide range of SO's. I've been told the side handle, ordered separately Dec. 4 should be showing up by the first or second week of March. Red's production lines are obviously becoming well-oiled.
 
YESSSSSSS!!!!! I received my allocation email at this very minute!

SO 2583 "Sputnik" (AL) - ordered Nov. 5
 
I only got one PL lens to start with, but I also got the Optitek ProLock Nikon mount, so I can still shoot more than one type of shot :)

Looks like we're seeing some major movement today... Congratulations to all of you! Having been in your spot last week, and now having my Scarlet, it's truly an incredible feeling. You'll love it!
 
Ahh, all this PL mount movement is killing me. If I had known I would have sold all my Canon Glass and bought both of the RED zooms for now. Oh well.. soon I guess.
 
Did anyone allocated last Wed get shipping notification yet? My rep said 3-5 days and today makes Day 5. I leave the country next week.
 
I Just got my allocation email. SO#2389 ordered on the 5th Canon Al mount. I think we will call him "Finn" and he will be coming home to South Africa. I am sure this has been asked and answered already in this thread but typically how long from allocation to shipping are Red taking. They said 3-5 working days in the email but my reason for asking is I will be away from the 6th March for 3 weeks on a shoot. I really hope it gets here before that otherwise I will have to get hold of the bomb squad and make some arrangement.

SO 1987, Scarlet AL Canon Mount bundle, UK. I ordered early on Nov 4th
 
My touch LCD arrived today, really nice build quality and feel. I can't wait to have something to plug it into.
 
I have a question for everyone who has already received their Scarlets. RED sent me an email last Thursday with the subject of, "Scarlet-X Allocation Notification." Here's a link to the email: http://view.s4.exacttarget.com/?j=f...107757d11&jb=ffcf14&ju=fe8c1c747461027f7c&r=0

My question is, how long after you received this email did your Scarlet ship? The reason I ask is that I've been told by a few other users here that their Scarlets didn't ship for two weeks after they received the email. I was under the impression that it would ship in "5-7 business days." Anyone know?
