Well if you are not working you an make it at the shooting event I'm organizing here in Riverside, just a bit closer too.

And yes it was a blast, my friends Matt and Bruce kept saying that I had a big smile all morning long, that was do to be able to get my hands on the RED #41(thanks again Manny) and test out the Birger mount (thanks again to Birger Engineering) with my Canon EOS L lenses.

Hey guys,

It's so nice to read all of your posts. It's reminiscent of the good time we had yesterday. It was truly a collaborative event. Erik from Birger sent me the canon mount, and helped us remotely. Kevin became one with the canon mount. John(#14),Mark(#41),and Shawn(RED) shared their experience, and allowed others to experience their cameras. Ketch, was really Buff- I was surprised as well. Ketch brought tons of gear and the Canon lenses. Bruce is such a fun guy. He brought a 24” Monitor for Chris who brought his Avid from Kansas City, that got DPX files from Chris from Canada. Drew brought actors, Fortunato kept us hydrated, Matt brought really cool PL lenses. Ted and Lucas, I’m sure everyone appreciated your presence. Niel and Arron, the entire process was great with you guys. From the planning all the way through the event. Thank you so much. To all the new friends, I look forward to seeing you guys again.

Thank you all for coming and participating.

oh man, looks like I just missed it. I would have gone if I would have found out about it. I've been in DVXuser for a while but just looking through REDuser now.
I'm sure you guys had fun.

Hey guys, I'm finally back home in Monterey.

Thanks again for being so generous and helpful and just plain awesome. It was pretty much exactly what i was hoping for. It's great to know that these are the guys that make up this budding community.

Anyway, I had a great time, learned a lot, and hope we can get together again soon.
