If the REDMote Pro is, indeed, capable of remote follow-focus work, I just want it to work with Canon lenses. And smoothly, at that.

so Im all for the redmote pro.. but... will this be useable with an external receiver and motor system?
I see how it would work with the newer glass RED will eventually put out.. and I can see how it would work with current still lenses such as canon which have motors built in..
But what about those of us with manual lenses.. pl mount or nikon (such as my ZF's?)
I would love to have a Remote Focus Unit, that would work with these...
Why would it feature a FF wheel if it doesn't support FF work?
