here's an Update on the MammothHD Library (see a few of the new additions below).

As with all stock footage libraries - building great diversity and expanding the coverage is growth - and of course with MHD it's about the resolution of 4K and above... soon to be adding 8K as the Weapon starts deliveries. MammothHD is expanding our talentbase - looking to build several areas that we don't have coverage or enough coverage. So all subjects from wildlife/natural history, environment, to sports, recreation, lifestyle, aerials, cities, travel, locations, scenics, weather, industrial, medicine, etc - World locations and wildlife that we really want to build include the Polar Regions (Hi-Arctic and Antarctic), Central America and South America, the South Pacific/Australia/New Zealand, Asia, Central Africa, and the Middle East. MammothHD opened backing 2003 and in 2007 we started specializing in RED 4K and have been keeping at the forefront of capture resolution ever since... Hoping to announce MHD's 8K Library soon. As MammothHD has expanded - we have built a resource that covers a very wide and diverse set of material (besides all of the RED Footage) from HD to 6K - Super Slow Motion, TimeLapse and Live Action on original media from 35mm film, Phantom High Speed cameras to Digital Stills and film for time-lapse and almost every HD video camera that has been released over the last 15 years....

Well - time for an update on the MammothHD Libraries....

MammothHD 8K Galleries!

With the release and delivery of the 1st 'Storm Trooper' Helium s35 8K Cameras a few weeks ago and a few VistaVision - over a dozen of the MHD Repped Talentbase got their orders and and are out shooting around the world - we are working hard on getting the initial launch of the MHD 8K Gallery up around Sept.1st.

So been working on getting our support images ready....

but as we wait for the 8K footage submissions to arrive for the edit/prep sessions.... lots of 4K to 6K (along with some HD) has been added recently and new material is coming in almost every day... here's a few samples from the last few months.

Lots of wildlife and animals material of course plus recreation, sports, travel.....

and some 4K Drone and 'HD' additions including aerials:

so - in the next week or so... will post some of the 8K footage we are adding to the new MammothHD 8K Galleries.

@Clark Dunbar (AMAZING/Beautiful!) Great shots and locations... (Understatement). Do you guys still have any interest in S-3d stock footage (by any chance) ? We'd sure be interested in 8k well shot S-3d subject matter, (we have some terrific software we have been working on for over seven years+ now but is primarily aimed at MEDIUM format and large format s-3d/3d/advanced photogrammetric capture and advanced "Outputs". We built the software to handle dynamic imagery (years ago) but we are/were still "waiting" for High res image capture devices of a sufficient frame rate and quality to emerge... Well here we are years later and Helium S35 8K is hitting its stride (magnificently) it seems. In general more "Pedestrian" S-3d is somewhat out of fashion, but we have some really terrific applications for GOOD ultra high res dynamic s-3d footage. Soooo IF you guys happen to shoot ANY s-3d material on 8k that is available for hire/purchase feel free to drop me a line/ PM me. We would be VERY interested.

[I don't want to junk up or de-rail this thread but in any case WE (at least ) see the immense value of 8k capture and looks like Mammoth HD has some outstanding and world class footage... ]

Eric - MHD has a small 3D Library - but the market crashed fir stock materials... so have not been looking at expanding it unless that market changes.
