  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED Collective – Mammoth HD

Clark, well done and well deserved. It has always been a treat to work with you. Also should mention it's fun to get the MammothHD email blasts to see what is new in the portfolio.

This is exactly one of the reasons why I hopped on board the RED train years ago. Knew the ride was going to be something very special.

Great Red collective on Clark!

Great Red collective on Clark!

What a great short film on a deserving person, Clark Dunbar! He is one of the Red family from the beginning!
Clark is one of the resources for many field Red cameraman and always a great coach! He always has the best solutions and best knowledge base! Always sharing and personable!

Thank you Clark for being the best coach!

Red collective, very well filmed and edited piece, Bravo all around!

With respect,

Kennan & Karen Ward

P.S. Thank you for including a Big Sur double rainbow!

Thank You for all the great comments and notes!

The RED Collective Team did a great job of showing the MammothHD Library and the resource we're building... and I'm very proud of the MHD Repped Talentbase and their work that is not only featured in this piece but make the MammothHD Library what it is.

A couple of notes - the footage shown here covers every model of RED (from the REDOne, REDOne MX, Scarlet, Epic and both variants of Dragon along with a Epic-Monochrome and a Epic-Infrared). The RED crew was shooting on Epic and Dragon. Glass of every type is used by the MHD Talent from the hi-end PL to Nikon and Canon in both primes and zooms. MHD is a Mac based edit suite and we're approaching over a 'peta-byte' in storage.... and now with Dragon files it's growing even faster.

So thanks again - please check out and browse the MammothHD Libraries:

Jarred, Jim, Brent and the WHOLE RED TEAM - THANK YOU for the honor and selection to be a part of the RED Collective Series. It was a lot of fun with RED Collective Team (Tyler, Andrea, Jay and Cleigh who made the trek to the mountains along with Dan, Clyde, Justin) for the sessions here and the 3am wakeup call to join me at 14,000ft one morning to shoot sunrise and mountain goats..... quite humbled to be a part of the RED Collective. thanks - Clark.
Stunning work by all who contributed footage, and very deserving of recognition, Clark!

BRAVO!!

Thanks Everyone. Greatly Appreciated... We have lots more being added to the MHD Library everyday...and now that Dragons are making it into the wild in greater numbers - we'll see the expansion of more 6K. Exciting times.

Just added to the MammothHD/RED Libraries - Dragon 6K footage of Humpback Whales (shot by Ron Lagerlof - last month in Tonga) For those looking to see how Dragon preforms underwater....

Building the MammothHD Libraries is great fun - living vicariously via all the repped talent's submissions and work... and although RED 4K+ is our preferred capture...not everything is shot on RED. Here's a new series we just added that is all digital still timelapse of SuperCells/ExtremeWeather - captured in 8K.

These are sick in the WOW arena....
