even with out a "rig" this camera works perfect, so easy to use the new touch screen! just looking for a lens support that works with the 18-85. the lens has no mounting holes or points at all from what i can tell.

That Ti PL mount is a beast!

Here's my two Scarlets in their birthday suits:

I'm looking forward to seeing other pics on this thread to help me determine how to build out my rigs.

Not to derail the thread, but would really appreciate a PM on your editing setup! Thanks in advance.

Hi Michael, I currently own a Sachtler and am considering the Cartoni Focus HD for payload reasons. One thing I love about the Sachtler line is that you can set the drag to "0" can you do this with the focus HD? I mean at the "0" end of the continuous drag system is the head completely lose? Thanks, Adam
yes you can dial it down to 0your for both pan and tilt.

Well, that solved my question. To solve yours, optiteck can help you out.

The lens shade several folks were asking about is the Hoodman 5.6, originally designed for the Red One LCD, works for the Touch 5.6, TV Logic as well.

I never really took a picture of my serial number until now.

I love the Focus. Great head.

Looks pretty scary balancing that thing, but it actually works out perfect and the QR plate on the Cartoni is strong and sturdy.

Nothing fancy at this point, just a little run & gun for the time being. Need to pick up a shorter XLR to run to the A-Box.

sidenote: anybody experiencing difficulty disconnecting the AC adapter lemo from the camera?

@Michael:

How you like the RR Micro MB? What FF u rockin? Rig looks insane!! How you like that 18-85?

I like the RR Micro MB. It does feel a little cheap, but for what I paid im happy with it.

Im using the Cinevate Durus FF, and I love love love the 18-85. Heavy as shit though.

Next stop for these babies is mounted on an Aero 3D Beamsplitter rig. Will post picts. Also shot the unboxing in 3D (seemed appropriate). Will post as well.

Anyone mounting the Wooden Camera A mount without rails on the Scarlet/Epic? I don't want a shoulder mount configuration or a Matte Box, just a bare bones, DSLR like configuration for "Stealth" shooting. Is the box mountable to a left rib cage, for example, without rails? Or on a Top plate?
