  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

OSEE Monitor Group Buy - New Kits!!

Sweet! huge shout out to Thom and Kyle. can tell that they sincerely care about trying to make their customers happy. Thanks for the update Chris!

Any updates on shipping?

The 7"'s are stuck in customs in Ontario, CA. They are awaiting for them to release the monitors and then they will do final QC and start shipping those out.

The others should be shipping daily (except for the 23")

Update directly from Thom:

The 7" Monitors should arrive here early next week unless we run into a customs hassle/

There are some changes to note:
Every order on the Group buy will come with battery plates. But not installed unless requested. So power supply and battery plates are included.

Really good news, cross conversion both ways is now included.
The output from the looped signal and converted signal can be user selected to have the Lut applied or not.
In simple terms, the LUT or Delog is either on the screen or the signal (When on the signal it is also on the screen) Having the option to bypass allows the camera log to be passed through the monitor to another device.
Of course the opposite is true if you want to send a nice signal to another device.

That's it for now. Also asked him about the other orders to get a status..will post as soon as I hear.

Since the 7" monitors now come with battery plates, will the dtap cable mentioned before - still be included? (Is that what you mean by 'power supply'?)

Thanks Chris!

Yup. D-Tap cables still included.

UPS is showing my 17" and 7" is being delivered on Friday. Excited to get my hands on em. Planning on posting initial impressions of both monitors, but in the meantime if anyone has any questions or wants me to checkout something particular let me know.

Somebody get me one. I want theirs.

I did not. But I DID in fact receive my monitor HMC700 today. Shipped USPS priority mail, even though I paid $55 for UPS 2nd Day Air.

Got my tracking also and it's via usps.

Chris, are we getting the extra shipping refunded or is that swapped out because of battery plate?

My 7" just arrived yesterday. It's glorious guys. When I saw the prototypes I was amazed, but this is even better!! Osee has done an amazing job.

Hey Chris can you comment on the Daylight usability and the colour accuracy?

Also that how's that Vaxis wireless set up? I was considering going with Cinegears Ghost eye 150m version 2 which offers double the range of the version 1. But I saw this in your pic and decided to ask.

You are getting (2) battery plates and the D-tap cable instead of shipping refund (which actually you're saving more money). Osee took a major hit with this group buy and the 7"...so I'm thankful for what they have offered us.

Will be testing more, but it's pretty good when Thom brought the prototype out a while back. Haven't taken it outside yet (been slammed with other stuff), but will try and post a pict or 2 tomorrow for the daylight visibility. The cool thing is that the brightness is set as a hot-key, so you can quickly adjust. I didn't notice colors to go out the window either with the high brightness, which is GREAT!!!

Regarding the Vaxis, honestly, the Vaxis - to me, blows away the competition. It never cuts out, is rock solid, and for the price, it beats everyone. It's what I've been using for a while now and haven't looked back. They have the 1000 foot version as well, which is smaller/lighter. I think they even have a 500 foot version (haven't used that one though)
