November 3rd...

Jim.. Jarred..

Nov. 3 Why not have everyone over Red Studios and show us on that Big screen...

If this jumps off, I'm there!

Great No, better than great

Whilst the Canon showdown should be fun, ready to ship is the news that I like best.

[Adam Eden]

Hey Jim, i already own an EPIC M and a RED MX 78XX. I would be happier knowing that i can get an EPIC X on the 3rd of November as my RED MX is stage 3.5! Let me buy my X then and I will be really happy.

I will pre pay it today!! I love multicam!!!!

[Bérenger Brillante]

Small question for Jim, or the commercial departement,
Will we be able to order more than one unit at first ? I want 4 of them, but don't know if the policie is like the begining of Epic M ?

Thanks

[Walid Kocht]

The 3 of november is my Birthday! So i could harass my family for the missing $$$ so great!!

Was thinking the same thing... especially if there is a fixed and interchangeable version... (or a single version that has a choice of fixed or body only etc).

Agree with Adam Eden - multicam is great... especially at the price point we're all hoping for... I'd so much prefer having B/C cams as Scarlets rather than DSLRs.

[Zakaree Sandberg]

any partnership with canon?

both big announcements on the same date?

interesting...

Great idea.... and live Web Simulcast coverage, like how Apple release their products..... this would be fantastic for those of us who can't make it and want to know everything about it.

I think when Jim said head to head that meant there would be no partnership announcement.

True dat.

Jim, I adore this "old school fisticuffs" style of press release/marketing/product timing.
I'm far too young, but I imagine this is how automotive companies jabbed at each other way back in the day. Maybe the old Silicon Valley days too.
I look forward to the announcement and congratulations.

[Simon Falkentorp]

From now on my birthday is also the 3'd of November ;-)

[Maik Müller]

Yesssssssssssssss..... reading this news makes me very happy. Can't find the right words, i'm super-excited.

[Tobias Ashenheim]

AMAZING. RED should announce 10 minuets before the Canon event. That would be hilarious. I would hate to be that Canon rep.

[Luc Bouvrette]

Amazing news!

[dalen johnson]

Totally awesome to hear, this will blow everything else out of the water!

He....he....

... exciting idea (!) ... let´s have a fest ... i´d come from Europe ...

[Tony Lorentzen]

Buy an EPIC-X and get to work!

So - you're saying Epic-X Stage 3.5/4 will ship by the end of October? I'm still waiting for my Stage 2 e-mail for #2336 ;-) November 3rd can't come soon enough.

[Prince Anthony]

Changes for the better... what other way could it be?

Jim

I would not want any other way....

[Perry Ho]

I am here with you & Red family...
Let's Cheers...
