  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Well, we can't let you retire, so apparently, no matter what you show, it won't disappoint. Take whatever creative liberties you want with that, but please, be nice. :D

Good to know a date. Reminds me of those November 30rd announcements back in the days. Those were fun. Hopefully this one will be much more fun... since we're so close now.

I did say "Scarlet competitor"! I have no doubt Scarlet is announced on Nov 3rd. I meant I am just not sure Canon will announce a viable competitor on the same date. Am I off the list?
 
ok buying the tickets for the match on November 3rd. Pity I already know who is going to win: Red!

Cause I really need some of these cameras. I really want S35, but Scarlet is just too good to pass up for small gigs. (What can I say I hate the small gigs, but I hate saying no to friends even more!)

Either way I get a great camera at a price that would have been unbelievable 5 years ago. Competition is good, everybody wins, thanks for pushing this forward. Whether my films are shot with your cameras or not, they will look better and you have had a part in this :-)

At least Canon is forcing RED into action after few years.
Anyway there are many cameras in that price range with Larger Sensor....
 
I used to "like" Red when I first learned about the R1.

Now that I see how they roll.

I Know their Family!
 
Calendar marked. Date reserved. Bubbly on ice. Meantime I'll be practicing ordering from Red store in under 5 seconds.

EDIT: What's with all the a-hole posts? A bit rude.... On second thought, that just gets me my scarlet(s) sooner so please keep being a-holes.

what excites me most is this is red's very first electronic lens, congratulations team red

You guys are really having a blast, aren't you? :)

What I like most about you guys is that you really are having fun with what you're doing. As a potential costumer I cannot help but laugh with you guys. I hope to be able to be part in the near future :)

This is the Red I admire and root for. By doing this November 3rd you're really putting that "Historical" announcement into something of a " Histerical" moment. I can already imagine Canon's high end, multi million dollar show with famous directors and DOP's going on stage to announce a product, when over here, a camera that immediately turns that "historical" camera obsolete is announced and almost ready for shipping at the same time...

That's Guerrilla, that's really an independent and unique way of doing things. Love it. Don't ever go big corporate, RED, Jim and Co. This is what makes you guys truly unique. Count me in!
 
WOW... NOV 3d it is, not that we are not INCREDIBLY HAPPY with our EPIC M... but I can't forget those days in San Francisco with the SCARLET!!



And I know that the SCARLET now, has sure grown in to something else..

Like the Scarlet we used in San Francisco was just a little Skimpy Baby and now the to be Shipped SCARLET has grown in to a nice and Curvy Young Girl... ;)
