  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

New Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8

6K HD fine. 6K full goes away about 20mm.

Is anybody experiencing an exposure shift when you zoom? Is this to be expected or did I get a bad one? I saw a review where it didn't shift and the review mention that the expire stayed the same. Although he may not have zoomed through the entire range like I did when I experienced the shift.

I never experienced an exposure shift, and I´ve done two jobs with this lens now
 
Wow, thanks guys, I guess I got a bad one cuz mine sure shifts, I'll just take or back & exchange it, I love it other than the shift I'm experiencing.
 
GL optics (and David Kellermann in my case) have in my experience an outstanding customer service. Send them E-mail about your trouble.

I will try to check mine out, to see if that happens. Never zoomed while shooting (mine is not par focal )

I thought you had the GL optics one (manual)... Have you a Nikon or Canon mount? I wonder if the electronic could get the lens missfunctionning?

How heavy is the gl optics version, anyone?
 
Just got this guy in the mail yesterday and I couldn't be happier, it is a beautiful lens.
